Very nippy car for 1.0 engine. ST line version goes round corners like its on rails. Good for short trips or just as good cruising on motorway, and I love the look of car.
Hello everyone, I'm here cause I'm in really need of help. I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost which I have modded with some performance and exterior parts also, but some months ago I'm dealing with an annoying and strange sound coming from the turbo.

Take it to ford, I have a 2012 ford focus. 1.0l ecoboost, and had the same problem, took it to ford, they fitted a new engine etc in my car, as this is a recall, all fitted, no cost to me Quote Link to comment
different car, I had a Ford Escort. Emissions exceeded legal limit by a long way. I was worried I might need to pay for catalytic converter but it was a faulty oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor was sending the wrong readings to the ECU which was then fueling the engine wrongly. To diagnose this the mechanic connected a reader to the OBD socket.

Some 2016-2018 Focus and 2018-2019 EcoSport vehicles equipped with a 1.0L EcoBoost engine, 6F15 automatic transmission and built on or before 3 -Jul-2019 may exhibit an illuminated oil pressure warning lamp with a loss of engine oil pressure. This may be due to a failed engine oil pump belt tensioner.
The coolant reservoir cap has Finis number 1301104 and part number 3M5H-8100-AD and costs approximately €15,-. A cracked coolant reservoir is a known problem of the 1.0 and 1.6 ECOboost engines. This problem is basically caused by the relative high coolant temperature which causes the plastic material of the reservoir to age prematurely.
The tiny engine is found in Ford models such as the EcoSport and Focus. has come up with a different teardown project as he brought a small 1.0-liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine to the shop.
