In Warband if this happened your production just gets suspended, but it looks like you have to start from scratch in this game unacceptable. I'm a mercenary, it's not my fault if my ruler at the time decides to work against my interests, they should be responsible for compensating lost revenue due to this.
1st you join to the faction as a mercenary group. While you are fought against the enemy nations and prove your loyalty for your faction then you can go ask to pledge an oath for faction leader. Key difference is you are not rewarded fiefs as a mercenary. i am new to the game but this is my current understanding of it based of of my experiance
Mercenary Pay is a Lie (Or at least Misleading), But that's a good thing. The tool-tip is a lie (mostly). But that's a good thing because the pay is actually much better. The pay they quote you is actually an influence conversion paid daily per influence at the same time as troop costs are deducted. However, not all influence is converted everyday.
In the Encyclopedia -> Kingdom -> select the faction -> scroll down -> it tells you who they are currently at war with including actual kingdoms and minor factions like hired mercenary clans. Showing 1 - 5 of 5 comments
Like say we choose bandit and we start off in your hideout where you can upgrade it like the vikings dlc for warband. You can take other bandits hideouts and become a well known and feared bandit too most. If you create a big enough netowrk of bandits, you can intimidate lords or factions for them to pay you to leave thier villages, caravans and farmers or pay you to disrupt another lords
Go into the kingdom tab, then click Leave Kingdom. That'll give you tons of -rep, though. For whatever reason, mercenary contracts never need to be renewed. You're stuck being an mercenary unless you want to take the -20 rep hit.
Then go do whatever and twiddle your thumbs until the quest time runs out. I'm fairly sure that you get booted from their military (happened to me. Dude makes a rally call when I'm on the total other end of the world!) SEIZON SENRYAKU!! Boards. Mount & Blade: Warband.
If you've already reached Clan Tier 2 (150 renown), you can become a vassal instead of only a mercenary. Unlike previous Mount & Blade games, you can thoroughly influence how a kingdom operates
Circle around from the right, and swing from the left, aiming at the head. Its so easy, fights will actually become boring, but atm its the best way to deal with shields. Circle-strafing. It basically makes any 1:1 combat and some with higher odds a non-issue for melee fighters on foot. Originally posted by Chaoslian:
2. Maybe after some time period (2 - 4 seasons) of being a solo clan with no lands, they become mercenaries. 3. If you didn't want to keep them in the game, remove them from the game and pop a message that says they have left the lands to return to their homelands or to start a new life in a different place.
